Why you should act now
Security and Compliance
Outdated versions of TYPO3 will eventually cease to receive regular security updates. At the same time, Article 32 of the GDPR and the IT Security Act require state-of-the-art technical measures. An outdated CMS can therefore become an organisational and legal risk.
End of Support
v11 is end-of-life. Free community support for v12 expired in April 2026. v13 will continue to receive regular maintenance until October 2027 – after that, security updates will only be available for a fee via ELTS. Those who wait will end up paying ELTS fees and the cost of the upgrade later on.
